F4C Sustainability Audits of Faith Owned Buildings
We have a completely revised, in-depth audit programme that offers substantial support specifically for faith communities. It is heavily subsidised due to funding from partner agencies and includes:
A pre - audit visit to identify key challenges with energy, water, waste and procurement
An audit of the place of worship/prayer or other faith community owned building with up to 6 key members of the faith community governing body/committee
Advice, support and tools to measure energy and water use
Analysis of carbon & financial costs throughout the year
Support to reduce carbon & financial costs including advice on funding sources & options

Community Cohesion in Ramadan Event. Free distribution of healthy eating Iftari Packs to over 50's. Many organisations present during the days to talk with the communities about health & wellbeing particularly at times of fasting. Iftari refers to food consumed at the time of breaking the fast.
22nd: BBC Radio Merseyside Daybreak with Wayne Clarke
6 - 9am from Southport Flower Show featuring environmental and related initiatives from Christian churches across Merseyside. Listen out for Faiths4Change @ about 8.20am
WING - Women in Faith on Merseyside Group provide opportunities to share faith, friendship, fun & food at women only events, all are welcome. The group asks for a small donation of £1 towards food, all activities are free.
Autumn events planning soon ..... will include a walk on the Wirral in late September, all women of faith welcome. Details will be announced late August.

In Liverpool, we are working with Transition Towns to introduce local people to an effective and participatory style of training called "training for transformation". This is planned for September in the Dingle area and we are looking to offer the training to as diverse a group of people as possible.
